Hi, I'm Zachary, the maker behind Lindsay Metalsmithing.
I've always loved art in all its forms, and when I took a metalworking and jewelry class in high school, I found the kind of art I wanted to keep making. I fell in love with designing pieces people could actually wear, and kept going on my own just for fun. That hobby slowly grew into a workshop, and eventually into this shop.
Every piece in my shop is my own original design, and I make each one myself from start to finish. I shape the design, cast or form it in metal, and finish it by hand, from the polish on a simple band to the oxidized contrast that brings out a braid or a storm.
I love jewelry that means something. Some of my pieces tell a story, like a lone sailboat pushing through rough water or a small bird flying through a storm. Others are about simple ideas, like the beauty of imperfection or how small stones come together to build something stronger. And some are just clean, classic bands made to be worn every day.
Because everything is handmade, each piece has small variations that make it one of a kind. I take my time with every detail, because I want the jewelry you receive to be something you'll wear and love for years.
Thank you for taking the time to look through my work and for supporting a small, independent maker. Every order means a lot to me. If you have any questions about a piece or sizing, I'm always happy to help.
